Aspen Mountain & the Maroon Bells

Over the spring and summer of 2011 I was crazy busy, I attended several conferences and juggled a handful of products including, 300 Internet Marketers launched in March, Rank and Pillage with Aidan Booth launched in late July and Halloween Super Affiliate relaunched in mid August.

By the time the leafs were turning my wife and I were both ready for a much needed break so we made plans to visit Aspen Colorado, which is either a four or five hour drive depending on if you take Independence Pass (elevation 12,095 ft closes in November due to snow).

So over the weekend we packed our bags as well as our beloved dog Otis (become a Facebook fan here) and headed out for Aspen. It was the first time that I had been in Aspen in about twenty years and it was a tremendous time!

Some Photos From Our Day

The Mountain off in the distance, about one mile from the parking lot, the leaves were just past their peak, however many of the aspen trees still had plenty of leaves to create a lovely yellow glow.

Near the parking lot is an amazing pond, truly god’s country for those that love the mountains (me).

Just saw this picture of Otis…what a cutie! I’m a BIG dog lover, have three little mutts. Well, I don’t really have them. They have me!

As a former resident of Colorado now living in FL, seeing those pictures brings back very fond memories of too many places to even mention here. While I haven’t lived there for a long time, I still consider myself a Coloradan (even though I’m not from there originally). Of course, the Denver Broncos is still my team and thank God for Directv I get to see them every week (not always a good thing). I’m also a proud owner of both Rank and Pillage and Halloween Super Affiliate. Two tremendous programs that I endorse strongly. As a matter of fact I recently say the review that I posted in the Warrior Forum on the sales page for RAP which I hope helped convince people to purchase.

      Hey Dave,

Colorado is a special place for sure and so many people just connect with the “long views” that the mountains provide. I first lived in Colorado when I was in my twenties but moved back to Minnesota after mom asked me one too many times.I am very lucky to be back here with my wife amanda johnson. We talk about “our last move” which will be hopefully be to a dream house that is close enough to a ski resort that I can get to in less than an hour.I will keep working on that goal, goals drive me for sure and that vision in my head is strong for sure. Thanks for the positive comments on Rank and Pillage and Halloween Super Affiliate ;-)Best,Brian G. Johnson
