Video Update: Kindle Self Publishing Results

Share:

Can you believe it’s October 1rst today? Where did the summer go! I hope you were able to make the most out of it this year. I had a great summer and was able to travel to New York and visit with some other top marketers like Mark Ling, Tim Castleman, Paul Clifford, Aidan Booth and many others.

What really made my summer rewarding was that while I was enjoying the “lazy days” I was also building my business, specifically a new passive residual income stream via Kindle self publishing and a number of books I was able to publish that quickly began to drive sales.

Below I have included a screen shot of one of the books that I just published weeks ago, it attained “Amazon Best Seller” status quickly and drove lots of sales over the past few weeks. So many success stories can be found online when it comes to KDP, it really is an opportunity not to be missed.

My strategies have been fairly straight forward, however I have incorporated some ninja tips and tactics that have allowed me to move forward quickly while releasing high quality books that are well received.

Question:

Where are you with the Kindle publishing opportunity? Are you already moving forward with Kindle?

    Hi Brian,

Been with you since 2009 and love your stuff!

Yeah, I’m all about Kindle recently. Affiliate marketing not so much after my sites took such a beating from Google earlier this year. Kindle just seems like an easier way to go at the moment. I have two ghost-written diet/recipe (in certain niches) books that are currently published. Both sold about 50 copies in September, so not too bad. I only paid about $200 total for both to be written, and a few more bucks at fiverr to have covers done and the documents formatted for kindle.

I now have three more books currently in the works. Spent a little more on these, and they’re all in the same niche. I’m thinking about selling separately at $2.99 or $3.99 (whatever the market will bare) PLUS bundling them at maybe $5.99.

This whole Kindle thing is a bit addictive at the moment! AS you said, it’s kind of like the good old days of internet marketing!

    Best,
    Bob

By the way – FYI – using KDP Select and putting my books up for free for a couple of days really did wonders for my sales after the free promotion was done! I highly recommend doing that!

Writing my first Kindle book right now, also plan to publish it on iBookstore as I have a series video that I want to incorporate. For the Kindle the videos can sit on a WP site. Really looking forward to your product Brian.

Hey Brian, that’s cool you go to meet up with your peeps this summer. You always have such good information and I really appreciate the fact that you stay up to date on all that is happening in the online marketing world. Kindle does scare me only for the fact of getting the content prepared…I’m much more of a behind-the-scenes, putting it together type. The Facebook part of it does fascinates me though, as I love social media and I’m sure its not going away anytime soon. Keep up the good stuff

    Best,
    Sue

    Hi Brian,

Kindle is very interesting but it it worth it when you are just starting out?  I purchased you 30 IM course and had t go back to work at, not one but two jobs in order to keep up with mortgage payments.  Having to get 2 jobs has nothing to do with 300 IM course.  All I mean is I have not had much time to dedicate to internet marketing and your course.  I still believe 100 % in what you teach.  I also believe I can overcome this situation with real teachings like yours.

but I do have doubts about Kindle publishing. It seems it would cost more to outsource a book for Kindle or it seems the time to write the book myself would not cover the time and money invested to make a decent profit.

I still believe in the internet marketing lifestyle dream and of course, I will look at your teachings.

    Believe in your honesty totally.

    take care, Penny

      Penny,

Their are a number of options when it comes to book creation that really don’t cost any money, however the most important aspect of finding success online is time and if that is hard to come by, then you may want to pass.

Of course when time does become available.. self publishing and kindle is an excellent opportunity to explore for sure.

Hi there Brian, Happy 2013 from Australia.

Thanks heaps for your input, I have started my book, but am really struggling for content. I will struggle through this one, however in the future I shall look into outsource future books. My problem is, I have always had to work on a really small budget, so that means doing everything myself….that will have to change!
    regards Jeff

      Hey Jeff,

Thanks for the comment, have you thought about writing a book yourself,
after a few successful self published books you will have more to outsource with 😉

I know it can be hard, I actually have one book that is about 65% done sitting on my hard drive,
I will make it happen in 2013 …. perhaps you can write a book yourself in 2013 as well 😉

    Hi Brian

I had bought a Kindle Software from somebody else, but when Matt Carter send info about your Kindle Ritual, I decided to check it out, and I found out that that KR is out of this world, WOW.

    1. I bought Kindle Ritual and threw the other away.
    2. I began writing my first ebook for KINDLE (almost finished now).
    3. I now will publish a series as you recommend.

Thank you for bringing hope of success Brian. HAVE A WONDERFUL 2013

In your emails you suggested two products that I would like to buy:

    1. WPPIPELIE.
    2. SAFEGUARD WORDPRESS

Are these: Buy ONE or the OTHER?(but not both) or I can use both in my site? They will not be repeating each other. Sorry to take up your time, but I need to know because I am ready to buy.

    Thank you

    Arnold
